So just how are France, Argentina or Ireland going to stop the All Black machine?
It seems that no matter which XV coach Graham Henry puts out, there's no chance for the opposition, not even the merest chink in the armour as they steamroller their way to win after win.
Of course they do occasionally lose. The Wallabies beat them in the tri-nations earlier this year in what was a hugely surprising result.
However, rather than sowing the seeds of nagging doubt, that defeat seems to have instead made the Kiwis even more determined to finally get their hands back on the trophy.
Previous tournaments have always seen them produce one bad performance, enough to see them beaten certainly.
But I think that bad day at the office was against Scotland this time, it certainly wasn't today against Romania.
The team that beats them in this World Cup will need the strongest pack, the best stand-off to pull the strings, and inhumane pace in the back three to finish off any opportunities that come their way.
Does this team exist? Probably not.
There is however, another way to beat the All Blacks.
With a stick, while they sleep.
